Isla Mujeres

Just returned from Isla Mujeres, Mexico…

Wow, this little island is absolutely beautiful! The ocean was so warm, the locals were so friendly, the vibe so relaxed and the food was so delicious.

Highlights?
Hanging out with my beloved bestfriend Dhyanna, swimming with dolphins, scuba diving, coconut ice cream with kahlua, shrimp tacos for $1.50, eating ceviche (raw fish/seafood cured in lime juice), practicing Spanish and being received so graciously, dancing on the beach or under a palapa, enjoying a 4-element meditation where I was kissed by the sun, caressed by the wind, bathed by the ocean and supported by soft white sands all at the same time.

The ultimate highlight?
Seeing tiny glittering fish leap right over our heads when we sang “Across the Universe” while floating in sparkling turquoise waters...

Across the Universe

Words are flowing out
like endless rain into a paper cup

They slither while they pass,
they slip away across the universe

Pools of sorrow, waves of joy
are drifting thorough my opened mind

Possessing and caressing me

Jai guru deva om
Nothing's gonna change my world
Nothing's gonna change my world

Images of broken light
which dance before me like a million eyes

That call me on and on
across the universe

Thoughts meander
like a restless wind inside a letter box

they tumble blindly
as they make their way across the universe

Jai guru deva om
Nothing's gonna change my world
Nothing's gonna change my world

Sounds of laughter, shades of life
are ringing through my opened ears

exciting and inviting me
Limitless undying love
which shines around me like a million suns

It calls me on and on across the universe

Jai guru deva om
Nothing's gonna change my world
Nothing's gonna change my world

- John Lennon, 1967
