The place used to be called Bukowski’s (where I made my burlesque debut), and apparently, several martinis were named after the group of artists who performed there (including Lola Lush, Mz. Adrian, Dimitri and Christine Tiny Taylor). When the new owners took over, they kept the same cocktail menu. It's surprising to discover this years later so I've been wanting to check it out before they revamped the menu.
Then synchronistically, my friend Zyla hosted her birthday party this July at Sash so I finally got to try a “Lil Woo”!
I wasn't offered a free taste test despite the namesake so I paid $10.07 to drink myself (a peach schnapp martini).Since I'm not too crazy about martinis, the flavor didn't quite appeal to me. Nevertheless, the waitress told me that the Lil Woo is a popular drink.
